Ghost March Update

Based on the e-mails I've received, psychics, clairvoyants and left behind loved ones invited somewhere over 1.2 million ghosts and spirits to attend today's Million Ghost March. I've asked for follow-up reports and as they pour in, I'll be able to estimate how many ghosts were able to journey to Las Vegas via the astral plane. Looks like a cool one million marchers is well within reach. Thanks to all who made this amazing achievement possible.

Sudden Chill

Hi Doc:

I live in North Las Vegas where it was 110 degrees yesterday. Yet when I got out of my car to go to my job at the Flamingo, I felt a sudden chill pass across me. And then another. Since "cold spots" are often associated with the presence of spirits, could I have encountered a ghost or two involved in the Million Ghost March?

What does having or not having a degree at MIT have to do with, "What I'd like to know is how people like you can think that Earth is constantly being visited by UFO aliens."

Stupid people? I'm not stupid by far, however I happen to be an alien abductee from the 1950s up until my last abduction in 1988. I am a highly educated 56-year-old female. I am not a flake or a goofball. I understand the difference between fact and theory and I dismiss many things that I read stated by others in the realm of UFOs and aliens because I am not stupid.

Aliens probably find Earth as a Disneyland if you ever stopped to think about it. Humans are a crack up if you ever stopped to look at the idiotic things we do.

Lastly, you are by no means a skeptic. You do not understand the definition of skeptic. You are a lampoonist or maybe a debunker, but you are by no means a skeptic since you do not follow the rules of skepticism.

Just received a call from a Las Vegas broadcaster who knew nothing about the annual skeptic convention at the Flamingo Hotel until he saw the news about the Million Ghost March protest. Guess Not-So-Amazing Randi and his pocket-protector-wearing cohorts don't know how to work their magic on the media. But who on earth expects great p.r. from such an unimaginative bunch of dull normals?

I am one of those skeptics you seem to have a bug up your *** about. A word about my credentials: I have an associates degree in engineering from Macomb County Community College and am presently employed as a technician by a prestigious German automobile dealer. So while I may not have an MIT education I know what I am talking about when it comes to many things science. What I'd like to know is how people like you can think that Earth is constantly being visited by UFO aliens. There are so many stupid people on the planet--like your followers--why would they want to come here? Any UFO alien with a brain in his head would be bored to tears by the inhabitants of Planet Earth. BTW: Amazing Randi Rocks!

Outer space aliens may be bored with us, but UFO sightings have skyrocketed in the 21st century. Experts are scratching their heads as to why. However, the evidence is overwhelming. Here are just some of the figures:
South America: sightings up 73%
Southeastern Asia: sightings up 39%
Russia: sightings up 113%
United States: sightings up 6%
Analysts are sifting through mountains of data to determine the significance of these patterns.

Just a quick note to say that I contacted the deceased spirits of my grandparents and great grandfather, asking them to attend the Million Ghost March in Las Vegas this Saturday June 21st. While the "communication line" with them was somewhat hazy, I feel very confident that they will attend the protest. They were all strong believers in human rights--so I think they will stand up for rights of ghosts too. This is a civil rights issue. People must be able to contact their deceased loved ones free from the hurtful ridicule of skeptics!

MILLION GHOST MARCH TO HAUNT SKEPTICS CONVENTION

Clairvoyants, mediums and psychics worldwide have been invited to contact spirits in a major nonviolent protest of an annual convention of skeptics taking place at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, June 19-22, 2008. “For too long, paranormal skeptics have mocked people with a curiosity about ghosts, spirits and the afterlife. The Million Ghost March was conceived as an opportunity to turn the tables on these unimaginative naysayers,” said Peter Fenton, organizer of the massive effort. He operates the blog Ask Doc Paranormal (http://www.askdocparanormal.com/).
Called the Amazing Meeting 6, the skeptics convention is organized by magician The Amazing Randi and will feature guest speakers including a cast member of the Mythbusters, magicians Penn & Teller and cable news pundit Christopher Hutchins.
To protest this motley gathering of professional debunkers, volunteer clairvoyants and psychic mediums are inviting deceased spirits and ghosts to haunt Las Vegas in an unprecedented Million Ghost March.
Many celebrity spirits have been asked to join the march. “Las Vegas has a rich history of colorful personalities, from the Old West to the city’s re-birth as the world center for gambling and entertainment,” continued Fenton. “Invited celebrity ghosts include gangster Bugsy Siegel, entertainers George Jessel, Liberace and Tupac Shakur, the legendary Rat Pack and journalist Hunter S. Thompson, author of the book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.”
Concluded Fenton, “The beauty of this event is that even during the height of the march, traffic will not be interrupted and Las Vegas police will not have to restrain crowds. Recent research has led many investigators to conclude that paranormal ability is an inherited trait, as is intellectual or athletic prowess. While paranormal skills can be honed, the heights an individual may attain are limited by his or her genes. Much like an average golfer won't turn into the next Tiger Woods no matter how much he practices, not every psychic will blossom into a Cayce or Swedenborg. Sadly, because of the antagonism towards the paranormal fostered by unimaginative skeptics, many extraordinarily gifted people are discouraged from using or even recognizing their unusual abilities.
