The concept was developed by Sir Alister Hardy, who contended that children often communicate spontaneously with invisible and apparently imaginary friends. Whether these playmates are truly paranormal or merely fictitious is a point of heated contention that has not been resolved to anyone's satisfaction, despite countless experiments by researchers on both sides of the argument.

Did Dick Cheney Leave Office With ESP Secrets?
A firestorm of controversy has erupted in recent days among leading conspiracy theorists. All of it is centered on the suspicion that when former Vice President Dick Cheney exited his offices, he took with him massive amounts of top secret ESP research. The importance of the material to Mr. Cheney is unknown. However, advanced ESP skills would allow an individual to clearly listen in on privileged conversations from many miles away. And officials have yet to discover a way of scrambling ordinary talk to render such "remote listening" ineffective.
Deceased Voters Approve of Obama
A survey conducted by leading psychic mediums has found that the deceased spirits of former voters approve of Barack Obama's performance in office. His approval rating was 79%, with 13% disapproving. A further 8% had no opinion. Remarkably, this approximates the new president's approval rating among living voters.
Chief concerns among the spirits included government support for psychical research projects and stricter regulations for soothsayers.

Work After Death
What's life after death like? A lot of work, according to Russian psychic Tatiana Elmanovich, author of "Death: The Beginning." Elmanovich, who emigrated to the U.S. in 1989, has communicated with many deceased individuals, who have told her what it is like to exist on the Other Side. And while their physical labors may be over, the mental and spiritual work of the dead continues at an even greater pace. The deceased expend great effort to understand the wrongs they committed in their earthly lives. And many attempt to redress these wrongs via spirit communication with living friends and relatives.

#1 Most Common Type of UFO Alien Resembles Leonardo DeCaprio
The most common type of UFO aliens are small humanoids 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 feet tall with heads so large that some have been reported to wear neck braces similar to those used by victims of whiplash.
At first glance, these entities are frequently mistaken for diminutive actor Leonardo DeCaprio. However, the presence of two round eyes without pupils belies that initial impression. Upon closer inspection, these aliens are revealed to possess lipless, slit-like mouths and no teeth. Their hands have four webbed fingers, no thumbs and long fingernails.
